OVERVIEW

All orders placed with Boards By Jess will be subject to the Terms and Conditions below. Please ensure you have read the terms and conditions before placing your orders. Any orders placed and received signifies your acceptance of the below terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. 

This website is operated by Boards By Jess. Throughout the site, the terms “I”, “me”, “we”, “us”, “my” and “our” refer to Boards By Jess. Boards By Jess offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

QUOTES & PAYMENTS - NON-WEDDING WORK

A written quote will be provided based on your specific requirements. This quote is valid for 30 days from the date it was sent to you and can be accepted any time during this period. When a quote is accepted, a 50% non-refundable part payment is required before any work will commence on your order. The remaining 50% is due once your order is ready to be collected or delivered. Part payments are non-refundable if you are cancelling but can be moved to a new set agreed date between the client and Boards By Jess. Part payments cannot be transferred to another person or company. 

QUOTES & PAYMENTS - WEDDING WORK

A price list and or a written quote will be provided to you based on your specific requirements. This quote is valid for 30 days from the date it was sent to you and can be accepted any time during this period. When the customer requests to secure their wedding date with Boards By Jess, a non-refundable initial part payment is due of £30.00. The remaining amount is due once your order is ready to be collected or delivered. If you have made a booking for me to design at the venue you are getting married, the payment is due before the day that I have agreed to visit. Part payments are non-refundable if you are cancelling but can be moved to a new set agreed date between the client and Boards By Jess. Part payments cannot be transferred to another person or company. 

DESIGN TIMES & DESIGN DATES

For any hand painted and handwritten work ordered directly from my online shop or via email or social media platform please allow up to four weeks for your order to be completed. If the design process is longer, you will be notified. For commissions made via email a set agreed date will be made for design. 

PROVIDING INFORMATION FOR AN ONLINE ORDER

If you are providing information for an order made through the online shop, please provide the full information within 24 hours of your order by contacting me at enquiries@boardsbyjess.com or by using my contact form. Please reference your order details and full name when providing information. Word documents and pdf files accepted. Boards By Jess does not accept handwritten lists for required information. Please check if all information is correct before sending to Boards By Jess

PROVIDING INFORMATION & PROOF PHOTOS 

If you are sending information for a commission being made by Boards By Jess please check if all information is correct before sending it through. When I have finished creating your commission I will send the client a picture via email to check it is correct. Once you have viewed the images of your pieces, please respond by letting me know everything is correct information wise including names and the date. Once you have let me know this will sign off the design process. Once the design process is signed off, Boards by Jess does hold any responsibility for any errors based on the information given for design.

EVENT CANCELLATIONS

Please note any part payments made for an event which has been cancelled will not be refunded. All initial part payments are non refundable and to apply to the specific date given when booking.

PRICES

All agreed prices and quotes will be based on prices provided. Valid for 30 days of being sent and are subject to change after this period. This time restriction does not include set prices on my shop which are also subject to change.

DELIVERY

All orders put in the post will be delivered through Royal Mail. All orders will be packaged to a safe standard and posted with 1st or 2nd class unless an alternative delivery is required in which the customer will be told. All delivery costs are added to your invoice and are required to be paid before being sent. Hermes and DPD may also be used for delivery.

DELIVERY DELAYS & LOST ITEMS

Boards by Jess are not responsible for any delays, loss or damage that is outside our control. We are also not responsible for delivery issues from client error which may include supplying the wrong address or any deliveries left in 'safe spaces' or with a neighbour. Orders which are delivered late due to delayed or lost, damaged will not be refunded. 

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS 

All orders are non-refundable. Orders can only be cancelled if the design process has not begun. If you have made an error when ordering from the online shop, please contact me via boardsbyjess@outlook.com or via my contact form within 48 hours of your order.

OWNERSHIP

All designs and photographs are the copyright and property of Boards By Jess. Neither you, nor a third party may replicate, copy or reproduce any part of the design in any way without permission. Boards By Jess reserves the right to share the design process or final designs or work for marketing use, press, on social media or on our website.

CHANGES TO T&CS

You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time at this page. 

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
