Terms and Conditions
All orders placed with Boards By Jess will be subject to the Terms and Conditions below. Please ensure you have read the terms and conditions before placing your orders. Any orders placed and received signifies your acceptance of the below terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.
This website is operated by Boards By Jess Calligraphy. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Boards By Jess Calligraphy . Boards By Jess Calligraphy offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
A written quote will be provided for any requested work which is not priced on my website including wedding prices. This quote is valid for 30 days and is subject to change if the booking is not made during this time. When accepting the booking, a non refundable 50% deposit is required to secure the date of design before any design commences. The other 50% will be required when your order is completed, before being collected or delivered.
For any handmade work ordered directly from my online shop or via email or social media platform please allow up to two weeks for your order to be completed. If the design process is longer, you will be notified.
Please not the prices given in the Hire directory are from a starting price and are subject to change depending on your requirements.
PROVIDING INFORMATION FOR AN ONLINE ORDER
If you are providing lettering information for an order made through the online shop, please provide the full information within 24 hours of your order by contacting me at boardsbyjess@outlook or by using my contact form. Please reference your order details and full name when providing information. Word documents and pdf files accepted. Boards By Jess does not accepted hand written lists for required information.
Please note any deposits paid for signage for an event which has been cancelled will not be refunded. All deposits are non refundable and to apply to the specific date given when booking.
All agreed prices and quotes will be based on prices provided. Valid for 30 days of being sent and are subject to change after this period. This time restriction does not include set prices on my shop which are also subject to change.
All orders put in the post will be delivered through Royal Mail. All orders will be packaged to a safe standard and posted with 2nd class unless an alternative delivery is required. All delivery costs are added to your invoice and are required to be paid before being sent. Hermes and DPD may also be used for delivery.
Boards by Jess is not responsible for any delays, loss or damage that is outside our control. We are also not responsible for delivery issues from client error which may include supplying the wrong address or any deliveries left in 'safe spaces' or with a neighbour.
When wording and names are provided for handmade work, Boards By Jess is not responsible for proof reading. Please check your spelling and wording before sending any information for design to Boards By Jess. Boards by Jess not responsible for any client errors on any handmade work.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
All orders are non-refundable. Orders can only be cancelled if design process has not begun. If you have made an error when ordering from the online shop, please contact me via email@example.com or via my contact form within 48 hours of your order.
All designs and photographs are the copyright and property of Boards By Jess. Neither you, nor a third party may replicate, copy or reproduce any part of the design in any way without permission. Boards By Jess reserve the right to share design process or final designs or work for marketing use, press, on social media or on our website.

You can review the most current version of the Terms and Conditions at any time at this page.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and conditions by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to our website or the Service following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
